A generous friend of Thames Hospice will match every £ donated to support counselling and bereavement services. This means your donation, whatever the size, will be doubled, helping Thames Hospice reach more bereaved families who urgently need our support.

For patients and families in our care, counselling is a lifeline

Receiving a terminal diagnosis or grieving the loss of a loved one is among the most heart-wrenching experiences life can bring. Emotional and psychological support is fundamental to helping patients come to terms with their diagnosis, as well as supporting their loved ones to navigate their grief journey and alleviate the long-term impact of loss, promoting resilience and emotional wellbeing. Our professionally trained team of Counsellors and Pastoral Care Workers provide just this.

No one should have to wait for this vital support, but unfortunately the Hospice’s Counselling, Pastoral and Bereavement Team is under immense pressure to meet demand.

We receive no consistent NHS funding for this service, we are reliant on the generosity of our supporters.

Don't forget, your donation is doubled today!
