Clinical placements & work experience

Palliative and end-of-life care offers an opportunity to provide physical, psychological, and emotional support to patients and the people they are close to.

We are able to offer a variety of placements and work experience at Thames Hospice. These range from day visits for students and healthcare professionals, to longer placement allocations for those undergoing professional preparatory degree programmes.

Students are supported during their placements by Practice Supervisors and Practice Assessors.

Placements are arranged via the student’s university. If you would like to enquire about placements at Thames Hospice please contact us on the form below.
