Our highly skilled staff and volunteers work with patients and their families to develop a complete programme of care tailored to their needs, treating everyone with dignity and respect. We believe in empowering the people we care for and offer a wide range of services at the Hospice and in patients' homes to help them feel well for as long as possible.
Alongside our inpatient and Hospice at Home services, we also offer wellbeing support including day therapies, counselling and pastoral care, complementary therapy, physiotherapy and Lymphoedema services. We also have a 24-hour telephone advice line available to patients, carers and healthcare professionals to provide guidance on symptom control, practical advice and emotional support.
We care for patients in the comfort of their own homes and within our state-of-the-art Hospice - providing the right level of care when and where it is needed.
Our care is provided by our multi-disciplinary clinical team of consultant-led Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Counsellors and Therapists who work together to develop the best possible care plan, tailored to individual needs.
We offer a free 24-hour telephone interpreting service, 365 days a year, with more than 250 languages and dialects available.
Our services are free of charge to all those in our community who need vital hospice care but this is only made possible through the charitable support and generosity of our amazing community. We need to raise £34,000 each day to fund our services 365 days a year to the people who need us most.
