Proudly serving the community of East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire for more than 36 years, we work in partnership with our local healthcare colleagues to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care services to people aged 16 and over in their own homes and within the Hospice.
We are the only Hospice providing both inpatient and community care services to people aged 16 and over across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. A vital part of our work is also supporting our patients' loved ones.
The Hospice, formerly known as Thames Valley Hospice, was founded by a group of dedicated people from St Anthony's RC Church in Slough and the Justice and Peace Group of St Joseph's RC Church in Gerrards Cross, led by Dr Douglas Denny and his wife Pauline.
The remarkable people who support us and those we welcome through our doors are all part of our community. This section is dedicated to their inspiring stories - who they are, why they support us and how our care has helped them and their loved ones through life's most difficult time.
Get inspired by our stories, hear from our incredible supporters, meet some of the team and take a look inside our Hospice.

Read storyOur services are free of charge to all those in our community who need vital hospice care but this is only made possible through the charitable support and generosity of our amazing community. We need to raise £34,000 each day to fund our services 365 days a year to the people who need us most.
We’ve never needed you, our wonderful supporters, more than we need you today. Please donate what you can to help keep hospice care available for those in desperate need.
