Inside, you’ll discover many moments to celebrate, and how you helped make them happen. From Trunks across the Thames bringing our community together across Windsor, Maidenhead and Slough, to opening the doors of our new, bigger store in Gerrards Cross, it’s been a summer full of special moments at Thames Hospice.
And there’s even more to celebrate. Our latest CQC assessment rated Thames Hospice as ‘Outstanding’ overall, recognising the care and support our teams provide to local patients and families.
None of these moments happen by themselves. They happen because of you.
In our latest Moments magazine, we’re sharing some of the people, stories and milestones that have made this summer so special, and showing how your support makes a real difference every day.
Take a look at the latest issue and see the moments you helped make possible.
In this issue, we celebrate the many ways our care reaches into people’s lives, from the heart of our Hospice to homes across our community. This special illustration brings those connections to life: the threads of compassion that link our dedicated staff, incredible volunteers, welcoming shops, generous supporters, and valued partners.
Together, this network of kindness and generosity is what makes every moment matter. It shows that Thames Hospice is never just one place or one person: it is a whole community of care.
Our services are free of charge to all those in our community who need vital hospice care but this is only made possible through the charitable support and generosity of our amazing community. We need to raise £44,000 each day to fund our services 365 days a year to the people who need us most.
We’ve never needed you, our wonderful supporters, more than we need you today. Please donate what you can to help keep hospice care available for those in desperate need.
Support usToday, someone in our community is relying on Thames Hospice for comfort, dignity and expert care. Your donation can help make sure we're there for them.
