Our Inpatient Unit is a 29-bed, specialist end-of-life and palliative care centre, located by Bray Lake on Windsor Road, Maidenhead.
We understand that separation from loved ones and familiar surroundings can make a serious illness even harder to bear. Our community care services are here to help you remain in the comfort of your own home.
Our aim is to help our patients remain as independent as possible. We offer a range of services to help build confidence and self-esteem, to ensure our patients maintain a good quality of life while managing their condition.
We provide a 24-hour palliative and end-of-life care telephone service to give advice to people with palliative care needs and their families, as well as to healthcare professionals who need guidance and support on delivering palliative care.
We understand that it can be overwhelming when a person is diagnosed with a life-limiting condition. Our Patient & Family Support Team is here to support patients and their loved ones through this difficult time.
Complementary therapy can be used alongside conventional medical treatments to aid relaxation, help reduce tension and anxiety, as well as relieve some muscular problems.
Our specialist palliative care physiotherapists play a key role in improving our patients’ quality of life, helping to optimise their mobility and wellbeing and to live as independently and fully as possible.
Our Lymphoedema Service is run by a team of nursing staff with specialist training in the management of lymphoedema.

Read storyWe rely on the generosity of our amazing community, whose support enables us to provide the best possible end-of-life care for local people. It costs £12 million every year to keep our Hospice running - through charitable support we need to raise over 50% of the funds required annually to provide our services free of charge, 365 days a year, to the people who need us most.
We’ve never needed you, our wonderful supporters, more than we need you today. Please donate what you can to help keep hospice care available for those in desperate need.
