We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Joe Cavalli-Price, founder of Music in Hospices CIC.

This inspiring organisation was born from Joe’s personal experience of bringing music to his mother in hospice care, and now works to share the joy of live music across palliative settings. Their mission is simple but powerful: to bring comfort, connection and creativity to patients, families, staff and volunteers through the gift of music.

Together, Thames Hospice and Music in Hospices will create special moments of peace and joy for everyone in our community.

Joe says: “This landmark collaboration between Music in Hospices and Thames Hospice marks a powerful step forward in reimagining end-of-life care: where music empowers hospice communities to celebrate life in its fullness, regardless of medical diagnosis.”

As our Chief Executive, Dr Rachael de Caux, adds:
“Music has a remarkable ability to lift spirits and touch hearts. At Thames Hospice, it helps create precious moments of peace and joy for those we care for and their families. We are thrilled to begin this inspiring partnership with Joe and Music in Hospices CIC.”

Keep an eye out for further Thames hospice events we run in collaboration with Music in Hospices

Make a difference

Our services are free of charge to all those in our community who need vital hospice care but this is only made possible through the charitable support and generosity of our amazing community. We need to raise £39,000 each day to fund our services 365 days a year to the people who need us most.

We’ve never needed you, our wonderful supporters, more than we need you today. Please donate what you can to help keep hospice care available for those in desperate need.
