We recommend at least a two year gap between a close bereavement and starting to volunteer within the Hospice. We will contact you to discuss on receipt of your application.
This may not preclude you from volunteering but we need to be aware of your resident status. We may be in touch to discuss your resident status.
As part of your application, we require the details of two referees. Your referees should have known you for over two years, be able to vouch for you, be over 18 years of age, and should not be related to you or live in the same household. We will only contact your referees once you have been offered a volunteer role.

Your personal details will be used in relation to your volunteering application and your role within Thames Hospice.By providing us with any personal data, you consent to the collection and use of any information you provide in accordance with the above purposes.
