More than 600 people burst through multi-coloured bubbles to fundraise for Thames Hospice on Saturday 15 September, including a team of 36 runners from Grundon, one of our lead Bubble Rush sponsors.
The fun run with a difference saw Bubble Stations pop up around the grounds of the Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA), as crowds ran or walked through clouds of coloured foam to raise thousands for the palliative and end-of-life care charity.
Alison Evans, Head of Community and Event Fundraising at Thames Hospice, said: "We are so proud of everyone that turned up to support us in the coloured bubbles, it was a great day and we are still buzzing from the excitement! Thanks to everyone who was part of Berkshire's Bubble Rush, and to all the event sponsors, volunteers and staff who made the day so special."
Event sponsors included Grundon Waste Management, Stanlake Park Wine Estate and Martin-Baker. The event village included a bubble-gum scented Incredibubble, a bouncy castle, a selfie tent, refreshments, cakes and a colouring station for children. We also had Bubble Rush mascot Finn the Fish entertaining and warming up the crowds before they entered the blizzard of bubbles.
