Thames Hospice is thrilled to announce Grundon Waste Management as one of the lead sponsors of its fun-filled family Bubble Rush event which takes place on Saturday 15 September at 10am, on Berkshire College of Agricultures (BCA) stunning 400 acre-estate.
Grundon, one of the UK's leading suppliers of integrated waste management and environmental solutions, will sponsor two bubble stations as well as runners wristbands. In addition, a 30-strong team of Grundon employees and their families have already signed up to take on the walls of coloured foam around the course.
Grundon staff, including Deputy Chairman Neil Grundon, recently visited the Hospice in Windsor and wasted no time dressing up in the neon coloured Bubble Rush accessories to show their support for the event!
Debbie Raven, Chief Executive at Thames Hospice, said: "We are really excited about bringing back Bubble Rush to Berkshire and are delighted to have Grundon on board as one of our lead sponsors. Last years event was an incredible success raising over 31,000 for the Hospice. With the generous support of organisations like Grundon and the local community, this year is going to be bigger and better!"
Neil Grundon said: "As a local business were passionate about investing in the community around us and we know that Thames Hospice does an amazing job in caring for those individuals and their families who so vitally need its help. This event is very close to our hearts and we are thrilled to be lending both our financial support and to be able to cheer the efforts of our runners on the day."
Taking part in Bubble Rush will help Thames Hospice continue to provide vital care to thousands of local people who need its specialist end-of-life care at the Hospice in Windsor and in patients own homes. With no age restrictions, it's the perfect event for family, friends or colleagues. Entrants can walk, skip or run their way around the 2.5 or 5k route through a sea of colourful bubbles at the BCA. The circuit will take you through four bubble stations where high-powered foam cannons will blow out 30 cubic metres a minute of bright, frothy bubbles.
Welcome to Thames Hospice. We will keep you up to date with the latest news and updates about our work and fundraising activities.
