We are inviting you to step into a unique new world of shopping this Friday (15 June) as Tim Brooke-Taylor OBE opens our 19th shop, next to newly refurbished Vintage & Retro.
The contemporary new store, in Peascod Street, Windsor, will offer a dual shopping experience, with a door between the shops adjoining walls giving customers a chance to step back in time or explore modern styles. The additional & revamped shops, which will be officially opened by The Goodies actor at noon, are part of the charity's growth plans to support its new build, by Bray Lake.
Julie Rowley, Director of Retail at Thames Hospice, said: "We are delighted to announce the opening of our new shop in Windsor, which is our second store in the town centre. Our award-winning Vintage & Retro shop has been generating vital funds for us for more than 30 years, and adding a signature Thames Hospice branded store in the heart of the town will increase income so we can help more local people who desperately need our care."
The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Councillor Paul Lion, and Mayoress Mrs Laura Lion, will also be special guests, alongside a nurse and patient from Thames Hospice.
Mrs Rowley, who is inviting you to join the charity to celebrate with cake and bubbles, continued: "There really will be something for everyone from a great team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service; we cant wait to welcome you to explore this innovative shopping experience."
Thames Hospices specialist Vintage & Retro store will continue to sell an eclectic mix of fashion, collectables and memorabilia from a bygone era. In its new sister shop, you will be able to snap up an extensive range of quality pre-loved womenswear, menswear and accessories, together with a beautiful range of new goods and homeware.
The stores will open Monday-Saturday, 9.30am-5.30pm and Sundays, 11am-5pm, with both shops open until 7pm this Friday only.
