We are recruiting for a Home Studio Assistant Manager for our Home Studio in Maidenhead, to support the development of our upcycled furniture to a high standard for resale in the Home Store, and across our portfolio of shops.
So, yes, charity retail. It’s not what you think for a start. The role is just as commercial and just as challenging as anywhere where you will assist in setting up and running a commercially viable business, while utilising your previous experience of working in an upcycling or workshop environment.
You will be dedicated and of course working in retail is something you love but for you, there needs to be more to it. You’re visual and creative, excellent service and great standards are second nature and you want the Home Studio to be the best it can be but you also want to give something back.
Please note - If you are successful at interview stage we will agree a mutually suitable time for you to attend a short trial shift (1 to 2 hours) where you will be able to gain a greater understanding about the role, our ways of working and our culture. After this session a final decision will be made.
