Thames Hospice is an independent hospice based at Bray Lake, Maidenhead. Proudly serving our community for more than 36 years, we provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care as well as vital support for patient’s families.

We are excited to be opening a brand-new Thames Hospice charity superstore in Reading which will serve as a retail hub for furniture, homewares, fashion, and an upcycling studio with a repair workshop, a distribution centre for donated goods and a coffee shop, and a hospitality space to rent for meetings.

Thames Hospice is looking for an experienced, creative and passionate Home Studio and Repair Shop Manager to work in our new superstore. You will have a commercial mind and manage the day to day operations of the Home studio and repair shop, bringing to new life donated unloved furniture, to create beautiful bespoke furniture.

We are looking for a highly motivated person and organised person that has a passion for reducing waste and maximising opportunities. If you have experience of working in an upcycle/repair workshop with knowledge of specialist paints and materials, if you are up for a challenge this is the role for you!
