Thames Care @ Home is a brand new service aligned to Thames Hospice Community services, supplying personal care and helping people in the community remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. This role will offer daily satisfaction as you play a vital part in helping our clients.

As a Home Care Assistant you will work 8am-2pm, 4pm-8pm or 4pm-10pm, travelling to client’s homes from the beautiful surroundings of Bray Lake, Maidenhead. We are looking for applicants from all over Berkshire as we grow our service. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in caring for others, will be compassionate, sensitive, flexible, reliable and professional. You’ll be able to work independently and as part of a team, confidently delivering an excellent service.

  • Saturday shifts are paid at time and one thirds or £13.06 per hour
  • Sunday shifts are paid at time and two thirds or £16.33 per hour
  • Shift pay work, you will be paid from the start of your shift until the end, not on the number of client visits
