Our volunteers are crucial to the success of Thames Hospice. Without the support of every volunteer across the whole organisation, we would not be able to offer excellent care to patients and their loved ones at the time when they need it most.

We value your time, creativity, experience and knowledge to fill our wide range of volunteer opportunities. Fundraising volunteering

You could be acting as stewards and marshals at our sponsored events such as our flagship Sunflower Walk. If you prefer to volunteer from the comfort of your own home, there are many ways you can get involved to support our fundraising administration teams.

From welcoming visitors on reception to serving afternoon tea, or driving patients to and from therapy appointments, by volunteering at the Hospice you will be a key part of a special team.

Our charity shops generate vital income needed to keep our Hospice running, from talking to customers and making them feel welcome to sorting through donations and ensuring the shop looks their best and are on trend.

Make a difference

Our services are free of charge to all those in our community who need vital hospice care but this is only made possible through the charitable support and generosity of our amazing community. We need to raise £34,000 each day to fund our services 365 days a year to the people who need us most.
