‘Trunks of Treasure’ Charity Auction – Saturday 16 May 2026, 10:30am

Ready, set, bid!

We are excited to share the details of a charity auction being held on Saturday 16^th May 2026 at Windsor Auctions in aid of Thames Hospice.

Local schools and community groups have taken part in the Trunks of Treasure challenge, a ‘Bargain Hunt’ style activity, sending small teams to hunt for pre-loved treasures in antiques shops, charity shops, and at car boot sales. The treasures they have found will now go under the hammer at Windsor Auctions on Saturday 16^th May, with all funds raised going to the Hospice. The team who makes the most profit on the sale of their items at auction will be crowned winners of the challenge.

The live auction will take place at 10:30am on Saturday 16^th May and can be attended in person at Windsor Auctions, Unit 18B Vansittart Estate, Windsor, SL4 1SE, or viewed online at The Gavel and The Gabble - YouTube.

Pre-registration is required for anyone wishing to bid on items on the Windsor Auctions website. Please note you will need to provide credit or debit card details as part of the registration process, which is a legal requirement to verify your identity. You will not be charged unless you place a winning bid.
