Unfortunately, we’re unable to extend The Final Parade or release any additional tickets. We are, however, delighted to share some lovely news. Amara by Charlie Mackesy and Daisy, our In-Memory elephant, will be returning to Thames Hospice to make the Hospice their forever home. You’ll still be able to visit them at Café by the Lake and enjoy these very special sculptures for years to come.

Please note, if you are visiting a patient, you can park at Thames Hospice. Patients and their families will be able to enter the event if they wish to. Please speak to the nurse in charge about how to do that.

Trunks Across the Thames - The Final Parade

We’re delighted to have so many people joining us for The Final Parade. As the event is sold out and we have to prioritise space for patients and their families, parking at the Hospice will be extremely limited. To ensure everyone can arrive safely and enjoy the day, it is essential that you follow the parking and shuttle bus guidance below.

Park and Ride:

Free parking is available at Centrica, SL4 5GD, with a minibus shuttle running between Centrica and the Hospice. Centrica car park will open at 12 noon, and the shuttle will run continuously throughout the afternoon until 6 pm.

1. If you can, please walk, cycle, or use public transport to get to the event.
2. Please car share where possible to help reduce pressure on parking.
3. Please drop passengers off at Thames Hospice first, then continue to Centrica to park.
4. If you are disabled or have limited mobility, please let the parking marshals know, and you will be able to park at the Hospice.
5. Last entry to Centrica is 4.30 pm

The shuttle buses will be particularly busy, so please bear with us at busy times. Our team will be working hard to keep everyone moving as quickly as possible.

Tickets:

To help us welcome everyone as quickly as possible, please have your tickets downloaded to your phone or printed and ready to show when you arrive.

This event is now completely sold out and we are operating at full capacity. There will be no tickets available on the gate, and entry cannot be granted without a valid ticket.

Please make sure that everyone in your party has their ticket ready before travelling. Children under 3 do not need a ticket.

Once your ticket has been checked, you will be given a coloured wristband. Please wear this throughout your visit, as it may be needed if you leave and re-enter the event site.

Timings:
There are two sessions: 12.30pm-3pm or 3pm-5:30pm (last entry at 5pm) You do not need to arrive at the start of the session and may attend at any point during your selected time slot.

Our spectacular Final Parade will be a celebration as all of the elephant sculptures coming together for one final showcase. Whether you've collected every elephant on the trail, missed a few along the way, or haven't had the chance to see them yet, this is the perfect opportunity to see them all in one place.

As well as seeing the sculptures, there will be a range of food and drink available to purchase, along with a variety of stalls to browse, making it a fantastic day out for the whole family.

Tickets are limited and are not available on the door. Please do not attend this event unless you have pre-purchased your tickets.

Refreshments:

Cafe by the Lake will be open throughout the day, with food and drink available to purchase.

Weather:

Most of the elephants are outside; please check the weather and dress appropriately.

Dogs:

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at this event, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Entertainment:

Alongside exploring the spectacular elephants, there will be plenty to enjoy throughout the event, including:

• Food, drink, and sweet treats 
• Bottle Tombola
• Artist craft stalls
• Dance performances

Elephants:

For the safety of our guests and to help protect these incredible works of art, please do not climb, sit, or lean on the elephant sculptures. While they may look sturdy, they are works of art and can be damaged by climbing.

If you missed any elephants while making your way around the trail, don't worry - all 91 elephants will have their codes displayed, so you'll be able to them and fill in any gaps.
