Thames Hospice to open our sixteenth store
Adding to our rapidly expanding portfolio of shops across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire, Thames Hospice is delighted to announce the launch of our Farnham Common store on Friday 14 October 2016.
Not your everyday charity shop, the store will offer a unique shopping experience in a modern boutique style store. Fit with a contemporary design and layout, the shop will offer quality ladies and men’s fashion, pre-loved items, homeware and a special range of new goods - including ladies accessories, gifts and candles. The shop will also stock a stunning selection of Christmas decorations and cards, and upcycled items together with personal service from a team dedicated to delivering an excellent customer experience.
Julie Rowley, Director of retail at Thames Hospice, said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new shop, following the successful launch of our Gerrards Cross shop earlier this year. Having an additional store in Buckinghamshire is so important to us, as the money generated will be used to continue to care for people in the local community, now and in the future. We hope you can join us to celebrate our very exciting occasion.”
Shop staff and volunteers will be joined by one of our Ambassadors and a member of our medical team to cut the ribbon and celebratory cake at the shop from noon. There will be refreshments and singer, Anna Nightingale, will be getting shoppers into the swing of things with a selection of 30s-60s rock’n’roll, motown and big-band style numbers.
