Thames Hospice Santa Dash returns to Swinley Forest
Thames Hospice invites you to take part in Berkshire’s best Santa Dash on Sunday 24 November. Start the festive season in style by donning a Santa suit and dashing around Swinley Forest to raise vital funds for your local Hospice so they can continue providing compassionate care and support to local families this Christmas and beyond.
This year the charity is introducing a brand new Christmas experience to their festive family fun run. Not only will families have an opportunity to run or walk a 3k, 5k or more challenging 10k route, there will also be a special visit from Santa and his sleigh, children’s entertainment, music and refreshments.
Alison Evans, Head of Community and Events Fundraising, said: “This year our Santa Dash is going to be even bigger and better! It’s always such a wonderful festive event, and with a special visit from Santa himself, it is going to be the perfect way for families to kick off the Christmas season.”
Registration is now open with a special early bird offer running until 31 October (Adults - £15, Children - £5). Entry fee includes a Santa suit for adults, and reindeer antlers and flashing noses for children. Every participant, whether you’re a Santa or a reindeer, will receive a medal when they cross the finish line.
There is also an option to purchase a family Christmas experience package for £95 – this includes entry fee for a family of four, children’s priority Santa experience, raffle ticket and refreshments.
