Single Point of Access Administrator

£20,000 per year (pro rata)

Part time, 22.5 hours per week

These are exciting times for Thames hospice. We have planning permission for a larger purpose built facility due for completion in 2020, whereby we will be developing and extending our existing services.

For our Rapid Response service, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Single Point of Access Administrator who is passionate about providing excellent care to people when they are most in need, facing the end of their lives in their own homes.

You must have an administrative background, but you do not need to have experience of palliative or end of life care in a specialist setting. We will provide you with training and support, and you will always have telephone advice from the Single Point of Access Team Leader.

The role will also involve weekend working with days off during the week, to cover annual leave in the team. It is not anticipated to be more than 10 weekends per year.
