Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy plays an important role in palliative and end-of-life care by empowering people whose health can prevent them from doing activities that matter to them.

Supporting your care

Our Team delivers specialist care providing expertise, education, equipment, and practical help to patients, their families, and carers. We visit patients in a range of settings, including their homes, at Thames Hospice and during a stay in hospital to support a smooth transition of care through the different services. We help advise on planning for patients to return home as well as arrange for the appropriate equipment and support to be in place, ensuring they are comfortable and cared for safely.

If you are a Healthcare Professional, you can refer a patient via our Referral Form or by calling us on 01753 848925.
