The Santa Dash returns for its 10th Anniversary
Thames Hospice supporters, staff and volunteers are ho-ho-hoping you’ll join them, as registration opens for our 10th anniversary Santa Dash on Sunday 26 November 2017.
Start the festive season in style by donning a Santa suit and dashing around Swinley Forest, Bracknell, from 10am. Registration is open now and if you book before Friday 13 October, you can take advantage of the special early bird offer.
Alison Evans, Head of Community and Events Fundraising, said: “We are really excited to launch our 2017 Santa Dash and can’t quite believe it’s been 10 years since the first one. Of course, we want to make this the biggest yet! The Hospice has been providing expert care to the local community for 30 years, so please help us continue providing our vital palliative and end-of-life care service by entering now.”
The dash, which in the past has seen Harry Potter stars and TV’s famous fox, Basil Brush, start proceedings, is a family friendly event, open to all abilities and dogs are welcome. You can choose to run or walk a 5k, or run a more challenging 10k route. Before 13 October, adults pay £15 and with every adult registration, a child goes free. After this date, normal registration fees apply: £20 for adults and £5 for children – under-fives go free.
Registration includes a Santa suit for adults and reindeer antlers and flashing noses for children. Each Santa will receive a medal and refreshments when they cross the finish line.
