Thames Hospice supporters, staff and volunteers are ho-ho-hoping you’ll join them as registration opens for the charity’s much loved annual Santa Dash on Sunday 25 November 2018.
The team are asking you to start the festive season in style by donning a Santa suit and dashing around Swinley Forest to raise vital funds for your local Hospice, so they can continue providing vital palliative and end-of-life care throughout the Christmas period.
Alison Evans, Head of Community and Events Fundraising, said: “Our Santa Dash event is always so popular. It is an incredibly fun day out for the whole family; get in the festive spirit, sign up now and help us create the biggest sea of Santas in Berkshire!”
The dash is a family friendly event open to all abilities – you can even bring along your dog! You can choose to run or walk 5k, or run a more challenging 10k route. Online entry costs £20 for adults and £5 for children – under-fives go free.
Registration includes a Santa suit for adults, and reindeer antlers and flashing noses for children. Every participant, whether you’re a Santa or a reindeer, will receive a medal and refreshments when they cross the finish line.
