Thames Hospice showered with donations from Reed Accountancy and their clients
A team of consultants from Reed Accountancy in Slough chose to support Thames Hospice during the festive period, giving an amazing range of high end donated gifts and hampers for the Hospice’s patients and loved ones to enjoy over the Christmas season. Reed Accountancy kindly organised a collection of gifts for Thames Hospice from many of their locally based clients. The gifts included donations from The King of Shaves, Parfitt Cresswell, Guards Polo Club, AH Tripp and Sons, Daniels of Windsor, Davis Turner, Westgate School, Wexham School, Berkeley Homes and Vestel.
The team at Reed Accountancy spoke about why this local charity is so important to them. Jonathan Brown, Senior Business Manager, said: “Thames Hospice provides an invaluable service to those who are going through very difficult times. Our clients have responded amazingly and provided items that I am sure will provide some comfort to those using their service.”
Kellie Rainbow- Smith, Executive Temporaries Consultant at Reed, who led the initiative, said: “Thames Hospice has an excellent reputation for the care and support they give not only to their patients, but also to the families. Thank you to my colleagues at Reed Accountancy, Jonathan, Vicky and Joanna, who all helped me to make this happen.”
Reed Accountancy consultant, Vicky Fergusson, has supported the charity in the past with a Red Devils skydive, raising £1,300 in the process. Vicky said: “The Hospice is very dear to my heart and I value the support and care that they give not only to the patients, but to their families as well, at such a difficult and sensitive time.”
Thames Hospice and Reed Accountancy would like to extend a big thank you to all the organisations who generously donated items.
