Much-loved carol concert returns with special guest
We are asking festive fans and loyal supporters to join us for music, mulled wine and mince pies at our annual Christmas Carol Concert at Wellington College on Tuesday 20th December.
Returning to host is the wonderful Tim Brooke-Taylor OBE, as we celebrate all that’s special about the magical season, in the College Chapel, at 7.30pm.
Alison Evans, Thames Hospice’s Head of Community and Events Fundraising, said: “We love this event; it’s the final date in our festive calendar and we hope you’ll mark it in yours. There is always
so much laughter amongst the audience and there is no better way to spend an evening than singing along to Christmas favourites. It’s always a sell-out event, so be sure to get your tickets soon.”
Packed with popular carols, the event features performances from Wellington Concert stalwarts, The Royal Harmonics, plus Windsor Girls’ School Choir and Windsor Boys’ School Band. Alongside the music, will be readings from special guests, including the Mayor of Bracknell, Councillor Tony Virgo, and Thames Hospice Ambassador Christine Small, plus our Chief Executive, Debbie Raven, and members of our clinical team.
This event raises funds through ticket sales, so we can continue to provide local people with quality of life, until the end of life, throughout Christmas and beyond.
