Medical Secretary

£23,000 per year (pro rata)

Part time, 22.5 hours per week


Location: Windsor

We are seeking a medical secretary or experienced administrator to join our team.

Thames Hospice is a thriving independent charity providing expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. We provide support for the physical, social and psychological needs of our patients and their family, to form a tailored programme of care in our hospice in Windsor and in their own homes. Our services include medical, therapy, and nursing teams, as well as practical and emotional support. The hospice has an excellent reputation for providing outstanding end of life care.

This is an exciting time to join our organisation, as we are currently building a new, state-of-the-art hospice by Bray Lake, in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, which will allow us to expand and improve our inpatient, outpatient and education facilities.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic secretary or administrator to support our Lead Consultant and the medical team. You should have previous experience as a secretary or Personal Assistant, as well as excellent organisational and IT skills.
