Staff and volunteers from our Vintage and Retro store, in Windsor, were crowned Shop Team of the Year at the Charity Retail Associations (CRA) national awards ceremony, held at the University of Nottingham earlier this week (26-27 June).

The awards highlight the work done by the charity retail sector in raising funds, providing volunteering opportunities, and raising awareness of good causes on the high street. The Shop Team of the Year Award recognises the staff and volunteers involved in the exceptional performance of a charity shop. Measured against strict criteria - including exceptional sales, increase in profit, excellent customer service and the recruitment and retention of volunteers - the tight-knit team at the distinctive store, in Peascod Street, fought off stiff competition from national charities and other hospice shops to take the top spot.

Julie Rowley, Director of Retail for Thames Hospice, said: "We are very proud to receive such a prestigious award and delighted our teams hard work and dedication to the Hospice has been recognised. If you're looking for a unique outfit, accessories, or household items, why not pop in to the store and have our award-winning team help you stand out from the crowd."

Our Vintage & Retro store is filled with one-of-a-kind items from yesteryear. A hotspot for fashionistas, TV stars and media stylists, the team works day and night to ensure there is an abundance of good quality and rare memorabilia, clothes, accessories, household items and everything in between available at amazing prices, so make sure you pop in next time you're in Windsor.
