Thames Hospice is delighted to announce the launch of Thames Got Talent a virtual talent competition taking place this summer. The charity is inviting local children and young adults to enter the talent competition throughout August. Applicants can send in a video performance of their singing, dancing or other talents.
Commenting on todays announcement, Alison Evans, Head of Events and Community Fundraising said: "During this pandemic we wanted to provide something fun and different for our community to be part of Thames Got Talent is an amazing opportunity for you to showcase your wonderful talent!
"The best entries will be shortlisted by a judging panel including the Pauline Quirke Academy and TV personality Sarah Greene. The overall winner will get to perform on the mainstage at Thames Hospices LakeFest 2021!"
The winner will be performing in front of over 1000 people and will be amongst well-known local talent as well as headline acts including 'The Ed Sheeran Experience'. The winner and the runners-up will also receive a months pass to The Pauline Quirke Academy and a special trophy. The winners will be announced on Friday 25 September.
