Windsor & Eton Brewery and Thames Hospice launch limited-edition charity beer

Something big is stomping into Slough and Windsor this summer... and something big is brewing, too!

When local organisations come together, hope follows. Thames Hospice and Windsor & Eton Brewery are delighted to announce the launch of Tales of Hope, a limited-edition beer created exclusively to celebrate Trunks across the Thames, Thames Hospice's spectacular public art trail.

Live from 13 July, Trunks across the Thames will transform the streets of Slough and Windsor with 30 large elephant sculptures and 60 beautifully decorated mini elephants, creating a free art trail for local people while raising vital funds for Thames Hospice.

Inspired by the trail, Windsor & Eton Brewery has brewed Tales of Hope, with 25p from every can sold donated to Thames Hospice. Every can sold helps local families access expert palliative and end-of-life care and support when they need it most.

Brewed in Windsor and inspired by the stories of patients, families and supporters, Tales of Hope celebrates the people and partnerships behind Thames Hospice. Its name reflects the many stories shared every day through hospice care while celebrating the conversations and connections that Trunks across the Thames will inspire across the region.

The partnership brings together two organisations with deep roots in the community a shared commitment to supporting local people. Together, they're brewing hope for families, proving that when businesses and charities work side by side, they can make a lasting difference.

The special-edition can features artwork inspired by the trail, including three of the elephant sculptures, giving supporters a first glimpse of the colourful herd before it arrives on the streets later this summer.

Dr Rachael de Caux, Chief Executive of Thames Hospice, said:

"Trunks across the Thames is about bringing people together through conversation, connection and shared experiences, while raising the funds that enable Thames Hospice to continue providing compassionate care for local people and their families.

"We're incredibly grateful to Windsor & Eton Brewery for supporting the trail in such a creative and generous way. Partnerships like this demonstrate the strength of our local area and help ensure our care remains available, free of charge, to everyone who needs it. It's another wonderful example of how local businesses and our community can come together to support local families."

Bob Morrison, Managing Director of Windsor & Eton Brewery, said:

"As an independent brewery at the heart of the local community, we're proud to partner with Thames Hospice on this special beer. Tales of Hope has been brewed here in Windsor to celebrate Trunks across the Thames and the remarkable work the Hospice does every day.

"We hope people enjoy discovering the elephant trail and, if they choose to buy a can of Tales of Hope, know they're helping to support local families through Thames Hospice. We're proud to play our part in supporting this important local charity."

Those wishing to support Thames Hospice through this partnership can purchase Tales of Hope from the Windsor & Eton Brewery Taproom in Windsor (1–4 Vansittart Estate, Duke Street, SL4 1SE) or online at webrew.co.uk/shop
Windsor & Eton Brewery will donate 25p from every can sold to Thames Hospice.
