SEC Recruitment has chosen Thames Hospice as its 2017 Charity of the Year.
SEC is one of Europe's leading providers of talent acquisition services for Contract Research Organisations (CROs), Pharmaceutical and Life Science businesses. Based in London, the company chose to support Thames Hospice via a staff vote, after one of their colleagues experienced our services.
SEC Chief Executive Stuart Britton, said: "One of our own team members has a personal connection with the Hospice and so as an organisation we got to see just how valuable their contribution is to the people in the East Berks and South Bucks area. It was our staff who took the collective decision to choose Thames Hospice as the Charity of the Year and I am delighted."
Britton went on to say: "We'll be looking to raise charitable donations through internal company initiatives, but we also want to give back to the Hospice in our own time too, so we'll be talking to the Hospice about volunteering opportunities, as well as other ways in which we can support as a business."
Speaking of the announcement, Jane Symmons, our Head of Major Gifts, said: "We are delighted that SEC has chosen to support us as their Charity of the Year. Of the 7 million a year needed to run the Hospice, 80% comes from charitable donations, so support from companies and their staff within our community is so important. We are looking forward to working with everyone at SEC in 2017."
Welcome to Thames Hospice. We will keep you up to date with the latest news and updates about our work and fundraising activities.
