Thames Hospice is absolutely thrilled to announce BAFTA award-winning documentary maker, actor and author, Ross Kemp, has agreed to become an official Ambassador of Thames Hospice.
As a local resident and fervent supporter of the Hospice, Ross dedicates huge amounts of his time to promote the work of the charity.
Debbie Raven, Thames Hospice Chief Executive, said:“We are so honoured to have Ross on board as our Hospice Ambassador. His support makes an incredible difference; he brightens up so many lives and always injects a real buzz and excitement amongst our patients, staff and volunteers when he visits us.”
Last week Ross popped in on one of his regular visits to the Hospice to the delight of patients, staff and volunteers.
Ross Kemp said:“I am very proud to become an Ambassador for Thames Hospice. It’s a very special place with incredibly inspiring staff and volunteers. I am always moved by the positive atmosphere, compassionate care and love during my visits to the Hospice.
“Their work is fundamental in supporting local families through the most traumatic time and it is my pleasure to continue to raise awareness of this wonderful charity and get involved with their fundraising efforts.”
Thames Hospice also has some very exciting fundraising events planned with Ross this year. Please keep a look out for further announcements on our website and social media.
