Actress to launch Gerrards Cross shop
We are delighted to announce the launch of our first shop in Gerrards Cross, next Friday 6 May 2016.
Sue Holderness - best known for playing Marlene Boyce in much-loved British sitcom Only Fools and Horses -will cut the ribbon and celebratory cake at noon, alongside Councillor Chris Brown, Chairman of Gerrards Cross Town Council, members of our medical team, staff and volunteers.
Not your everyday charity shop; the contemporary design and high-end donations will create a unique shopping experience for customers in South Buckinghamshire.
Julie Rowley, Thames Hospice Director of Retail, said: "We are thrilled to be able to offer this exciting shopping prospect in Gerrards Cross. We have been serving the local community for so many years and the opportunity to have a High Street presence is amazing.
"We hope as many of you can join us, alongside the wonderful Sue Holderness, to celebrate this new venture; bringing our most sought-after fashion and expertly upcycled furniture donations to you in a beautiful boutique store.”
Our Gerrards Cross shop will offer the best in womenswear, as well as a retro men’s fashion section, beautifully made-over furniture, books, a line of new handbags, scarves and accessories and more.
We need your donations and volunteer support to make the shop a success. If you can give any time in our Gerrards Cross shop, please email us or call 01753 848945.
