We're delighted to announce A Short Film About Us created by word-renowned Broadcasting and Production Company, Special Treats, has reached the finals of the Charity Film Awards 2018. but we still need your support to win!
We have been nominated in the Longform - over £5m turnover category, and to reach the finals we have encountered stiff competition from national and international causes in the public and judges voting stages. As well as this, we are up for a Peoples Choice Award, and all you have to do is click the green button below to vote for us.
'A Short Film About Us' captures the essence of Thames Hospice and helps to challenge the myths surrounding hospice care.
Thames Hospice Chief Executive, Debbie Raven, said: "It is an honour to have reached the finals of The Charity Film Awards. This is a fantastic result for us and we're thrilled that the dedication of our staff, volunteers, patients and their loved ones, has been recognised in this way. We're keeping everything crossed for the finals and please vote for us in the Peoples Choice Award."
The Charity Film Awards were created to demonstrate that in a modern world, film-making is the most powerful piece of equipment in the charity communication toolbox. The team wanted to show that the common perception of charities' video content is incorrect and they wanted to praise charitable videos that can inspire, incite to action, excite and change behaviour.
Welcome to Thames Hospice. We will keep you up to date with the latest news and updates about our work and fundraising activities.
