Cadets to lend force to Santa Dash

Bracknell Police Cadets will lend their force to Thames Hospice this Christmas.

A team of 12 will take part in our Santa Dash, in Swinley Forest, Bracknell, on Sunday 29th November 2015, from 9am; with others from the 22-strong Unit volunteering to help on the day.

Cadet Leader, Acting Sergeant Sarah Rose, based at Bracknell Police Station, said: “Bracknell Police Cadets are pleased to be able to support Thames Hospice, a charity local to our unit. As well as entering 12 cadets to take part in the Santa Dash, our other cadets are looking forward to meeting members of the community as they assist with the running of this great event.”

People can choose to walk or run the 5k Santa Dash, cycle a 10k or 15k route, or take on both to support local people and their families at life’s most difficult time.

You can sponsor the cadets, who are also hoping to raise further funds for Thames Hospice at Sainsbury’s, Birch Hill, from 2-5pm on Saturday 5th December, here.
