More than 900 people burst through multi-coloured bubbles to raise money for us on Sunday (10 September).
The Bubble Rush is a 5k fun run with a difference, which saw Bubble Stations pop up around Windsor Racecourse, as crowds ran or walked through clouds of coloured foam.
Michelle, from Heart FMs Breakfast Show, got participants ready to race, before The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Councillor John Lenton, and our Chief Executive, Debbie Raven, started the run.
Alison Evans, Head of Community and Event Fundraising at Thames Hospice, said: "We've never welcomed such a huge crowd to one of our events before and are still buzzing from all that fun in the foam, as well as showering the colour off! Thanks to everyone who was a part of Berkshire's very first Bubble Rush, and to all the event sponsors, volunteers and staff who made the day so special."
Event sponsors included local estate agent Horler & Associates, IT service providers Riverlite and Specsavers Opticians Slough and Windsor. The event village included a bouncy castle, stilt walker, refreshments, cakes and a colouring station for children, hosted by the Heart Angels, who also provided music and warmed up the crowd before they took to the blizzard of bubbles.
