Thames Hospice is delighted to announce that leading regional law firm, Blaser Mills Law, has chosen us to be their charity partner of 2022.

The firm asked their 140 staff to vote on their charity of choice and Thames Hospice was the clear winner.

The team at Blaser Mills Law will be hosting a range of fundraising activities for staff, clients and friends throughout the year in order to support the Hospice. Fundraising plans have commenced and the first activity in the diary is a charity golf day that will be taking place in March. The team are also taking part in the charity’s walk 50 Miles in March challenge.

Alka Kharbanda, Chief Operating Officer, at Blaser Mills Law commented: “We are really excited as a firm to get stuck into supporting Thames Hospice. It has been a real pleasure to involve our staff and allow them to have a say with our internal vote.

“Thames Hospice offers outstanding care to its patients; we are keen to help the families involved and raise awareness for palliative care. We are keen to involve our staff, clients and family members, so do look out for any upcoming fundraising events.”

Jane Symmons, Head of Major Gifts at Thames Hospice said: “We are really looking forward to working with all the staff at Blaser Mills Law this year; they have some really fun activities planned.

“The funds raised will support our nurses throughout the year and ensure we can continue to provide vital care and support to local families facing a life-limiting illness. We can’t thank them enough for choosing us.”
