Tim Brooke-Taylor OBE returns to host concert
Hosted by Tim Brooke-Taylor OBE, our much-loved Christmas Concert will return to Wellington College Chapel on Tuesday 19 December at 7.30pm.
Sprinkled with Christmas cheer, our fundraising staple sees Actor and Comedian Tim Brooke-Taylor OBE introduce performances by the ever-popular Royal Harmonics and Windsor Boys’ and Girls’ Schools. Plus, this year the Thames Hospice Choir – made up of our staff and volunteers from - will make their debut singing seasonal songs.
Alison Evans, Head of Community and Events Fundraising at the Hospice, said: “We’re hoping for another sell-out night, so we can raise lots of funds to support our services – which are open 24/7 and caring for local people on Christmas Day, as any other day of the year. Please join us and we promise you, your friends and family, will have fun and enjoy the magic of the festive season.”
Alongside the music, will be readings from special guests, including the Mayor of Bracknell, Councillor Mrs Tina McKenzie-Boyle, and Thames Hospice Ambassador Kate Atkinson, plus the our Medical Director, Doctor Cecily Wright. Tickets include mince pies and mulled wine, which will be served from 6.30pm.
