This summer, something extraordinary is coming to our community, and we’d love you to be part of it.
Trunks across the Thames is Thames Hospice's very first public art trail that will see 30 beautifully designed elephant sculptures take to the streets, from Windsor to Slough, from July 13 to Sept 13 2026.
Familiar places will be transformed into a free, family-friendly experience, inviting thousands of people to explore, connect and take part. Wander from elephant to elephant to take in the beauty and creativity of each sculpture.
Alongside the main herd, around 60 mini elephants will also appear in community spaces across the route, bringing the trail even closer to where people live, work and gather.
Our majestic herd will be marching between 13 July to 13 September 2026! Our herd of individually designed magnificent elephant sculptures will bring vibrancy, colour and creative artistry, transforming the streets, parks and open spaces of Slough, Eton and Windsor into a glorious and family-friendly open-air gallery.
We are delighted that Daisy the In Memory Elephant, is part of the herd.
Find out how you can add a name in memory of someone special and create a lasting dedication onto this beautiful sculpture, that will return to Thames Hospice after the trail.
