We are thrilled to appoint Graham Stone as our Horticultural Ambassador. Graham recently retired as gardener to Her Majesty the Queen after more than 40 year’s service, working in various gardens at Windsor Castle, and still continues to look after Her Majesty’s aviary and dovecote.
Graham plays a key advisory role in the development of our new Hospice gardens on a voluntary basis as well as volunteering his time alongside our day therapies team to offer support and friendship to our patients.
Commenting on his role, Graham says, “Hospice care is a cause very close to my heart, having experienced it directly when both my father and stepmother passed away. I feel honoured to be able to offer my skills and experience to this wonderful local charity.”
