AMETEK Murihead Avionics

Muirhead Avionics demonstrated an outstanding commitment to volunteering in 2025, supporting Thames Hospice as their Charity of the Year. A dedicated team of employees generously gave up one morning each month to volunteer at our Maidenhead Distribution Centre, helping to sort and prepare donations. 

Alongside this hands-on support, employees also raised an impressive £9,600 in 2024 through fundraising activities, further boosted by AMETEK’s match-funding programme.

"As part of our charity and community focus, our employees at AMETEK Muirhead Avionics will nominate and choose a local charity to support each year. In 2024, several charities were nominated and Thames Hospice was chosen by our team as our charity of choice for the year.

Throughout the year, we held numerous fund-raising events including Food Sales, Raffles, Quizzes and a Sponsored Charity Challenge.

Our decision to support Thames Hospice stems from a deep personal connection and a knowledge of the excellent support and service they provide. By partnering with the Hospice, we aim to give back and contribute to a cause that is close to our hearts and aligns with our commitment to making a difference.

We are pleased to announce that our team has, again, chosen to support Thames Hospice for 2025 and will continue our fund-raising efforts to raise money for this incredible charity."
