Session duration: 2 hours (1.30pm-3.30pm)

The session offers an overview of the current legal framework governing verification of expected death, differences between verification and certification, practical procedures and safe practice, informed by local and national VOED guidance.

This session will support attendees to practice VOED in their place of work. The session will be delivered at Thames Hospice and competence will be assessed in the classroom. However, we are unable to assess competence in practice. Light refreshments will be provided.
