Thames Hospice is delighted to be able to offer the brand new post of Deputy Director of Clinical Services. The post holder will report directly to the Senior Management Team and will have a core role in the leadership and operational management of the Thames Hospice Community Team, including the 24 hours advice line and Rapid Response team and our 17 bedded Inpatient Unit.

Thames Hospice is entering a very exciting time as we prepare to move our services to a newly built 28 bedded hospice in September 2020. The post holder will hold a pivotal role within this project.

We are looking for an experienced manager of staff and teams who has qualities and attributes to lead the teams through a very exciting time, but still a period of change. We are looking for someone who can align with our values, is charismatic, positive and solution focused. A knowledge of palliative and end of life care is required but this does not need to have been gained in a specialist unit.
