Conference Contacts name us Charity of the Year
We are delighted to announce global event management company Conference Contacts has chosen us as its Charity of the Year for 2018.
It costs more than £7million every year to keep our Hospice running, and 80% of this income needs to come from charitable donations. Corporate partnerships are an important stream of fundraising for us and we are thrilled to partner with Conference Contacts.
Conference Contacts Chief Executive Denise Ellis commented:
“We were delighted to learn of the plans for the new Hospice in Bray - we are a local company, based in Maidenhead with most of our team also living locally. For me this partnership is very poignant, as the Hospice provided care to my friend Chris Kemp and his wife Lynne before Chris sadly passed away in 2017.
“It is fantastic that we can concentrate our fundraising efforts on such a worthwhile cause. The team have got lots of exciting ideas to raise funds during the year, including an Apprentice-style Car Boot Sale challenge to see who can test their entrepreneurship and raise the most cash on the day.”

Conference Contacts Charity Champions Nicola Cross and Alison Martin recently visited our Hospice, in Windsor, to learn more about the work we do and to hear all about the plans for the new site.
