Club 25 – Helping our Hospice to help our community

At our 25th Anniversary in 2012 we started planning for the next 25 years. In 2020, we achieved part of the plan, completing and moving into our new Hospice. Help us secure the next 25 years of hospice care, join Club 25.

To thank our closest supporters, we offer our Club 25 members:

  • An invitation to two exclusive events each year to meet one of our medical experts or celebrity supporters, and members of our Senior Management Team
  • Two personal updates on our progress each year from a named contact within our Fundraising Team

Helping us to secure the Hospice for the future

If 20 members of Club 25 contributed £85 per month this would pay for one of our Health Care Assistants on the Inpatient Unit to look after around 14 patients and their families each month.

Support and train our dedicated teams

Our Club 25 members will help to support and train the dedicated teams who care for our patients and their families in the Hospice or in their own homes. Club 25 members can choose to support:

Clinical Fellow

A new doctor’s role for newly qualified doctors coming from the Intensive Care Unit during the pandemic looking for an opportunity to reconnect with patient care and learn more about palliative care.

Experienced nurses

Like Sister Dee pictured here, who provides day to day nursing care, monitors patients’ health, administers medication and changes dressings.

Health Care Assistants

Our Health Care Assistants help patients to get out of bed, dress or have a bath - which ensures patients feel comfortable at all times.

Pastoral support staff

Like Catherine pictured here, who helps with the emotional, spiritual and practical worries faced by patients and families at life's most difficult time.
