Housing Solutions raise £10k via staff fundraising

Housing Solutions Chief Executive, Orla Gallagher, visited Thames Hospice this April to present a cheque for over £10,000, following two years of fundraising.

Housing Solutions staff chose Thames Hospice as their corporate charity for 2016-18, and staff baked, wore their craziest Christmas jumpers, ran in our Santa Dash and held raffles and auctions to raise money and awareness for us. The fundraising total was an amazing £5,000, which the Association’s Board matched, bringing the donation to just over £10,000.

Thames Hospice Corporate Fundraiser, Mary-Ann Leader, said: “On behalf of all staff and patients at Thames Hospice, thank you so much to Housing Solutions for the incredible support! We really can’t thank everyone enough for what has been two years of tremendous help, generosity and kindness.”

The amount raised could pay for 24 hours care for up to 13 patients staying on our Inpatient Unit, in Hatch Lane, Windsor.
