A sea of Santas is heading to Swinley Forest
Thames Hospice fundraisers, staff and volunteers are ho-ho-hoping you’ll join us, as registration opens for the biggest Santa Dash in Berkshire.
Don a Santa suit and run or walk a 5k, or more challenging 10k, route in Swinley Forest, Bracknell, to raise vital funds so we can continue supporting people facing life-limiting illnesses. Registration is now open for the much-loved event and if you enter before 30th September you can take advantage of the special earlybird offer.
Alison Evans, Head of Community, Events and Corporate Fundraising, said: “We are really excited to be launching the Santa Dash 2016 and hope to make it even bigger and better this year! You’ll discover plenty of Christmas comradery whatever route you choose and know that everything you raise through sponsorship and entry fees will go directly to caring for local people this Christmas and beyond. We look forward to having some festive fun with everyone!”
The Santa Dash 2016 takes place on Sunday, 27 November, from 10am. The event is open to people of all ages and abilities and dogs are welcome. You can enter as an individual or as a team and if you sign up before 30th September you can take advantage of the early bird offer: adults pay £15, and with every adult registration, a child goes free. After this date, normal registration fees apply: £20 for adults and £5 for children – under-fives go free.
